(Toronto, Ontario, November 15, 2021) — On November 16-17, 2021, the Chiefs of Ontario will host their bi-annual Special Chiefs Assembly (SCA) with various First Nations leadership, technicians and government officials in attendance.

This two-day conference will be an opportunity for Chiefs-in-Assembly to come together to set a renewed strategic direction for the upcoming year, based on the needs and priorities of First Nations in Ontario. In addition, the SCA provides an opportunity to advance the mutual goals and interests of First Nations leadership and all levels of government, based on recognition of rights, respect, cooperation, and partnership.
