Key messages:

• About 70% of First Nations people have received 2 or more doses as of Mar 7, 2022. Neither this nor the proportion with only 1 dose has changed since November 2021. The Ontario rate is about 90%.
• The number of new positives results remained low among First Nations and across Ontario as of Mar 13, 2022. There have been 15,976 positive results among First Nations to date. Note that counts of positive results since Dec 31, 2021 are underestimates due to changes in eligibility for testing.
• Hospitalization and death rates held steady among First Nations. Ontario is now reporting these rates per 100,000 people (rather than % of cases) due to underestimates of case volumes (see above). Comparable data not yet available for First Nations.
