Health Sector Update: First Nations COVID-19 Testing in Ontario – Weekly Report 68

Key messages:

• New positive results remained low at 19 as of August 2, 2021 (compared to 21 last week). The number of positive results among First Nations to date is 4,874.
• Increases in new results in any area were all less than 1%.
• With the exception of a possible uptick in Ontario test volumes, all other measures are holding steady this week: test volumes in First Nations, positivity, hospitalization and death rates in First Nations and across Ontario.
