Chiefs of Ontario Bill C-92 – Northern Gathering
The Chiefs of Ontario are bringing Chief and Council, Social Directors and First Nation Technicians together to discuss the review of Bill C-92 An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families (“the Act”) and its impact on First Nation communities across Ontario.
This gathering will provide an opportunity for communities to share their perspectives, discuss the priorities and needs of their communities, while identifying the supports needed to move forward. These discussions will focus on several key areas, beginning with the community’s decision-making process regarding Bill C-92.
