DESCRIPTION:The Chiefs of Ontario Research & Data Management Sector will host an update session regarding the RIGC Project prior to the 2026 Fall Chiefs Assembly on Monday, November 23, 2026 from 1:00pm – 6:00 p.m. ET.  \nThis session will provide an overview of the project’s purpose, approach, and opportunities for First Nations involvement in strengthening data governance and advancing data sovereignty.
