Thunder Bay, (June 13, 2016) – On behalf of the Chiefs of Ontario, I want to congratulate Premier Kathleen Wynne upon today’s cabinet shuffle, which will renew and re-invigorate the government’s relationship with both Ontarians and First Nations. This shuffle comes two weeks to the day of the historic Statement of Reconciliation, and in the midst of positive nation to nation change as a result of the Political Accord signed last August.

Toronto (Nov 24, 2015) – First Nations Chiefs from across Ontario are meeting this week at the ‘Leaders in the Legislature’ event with Ontario Cabinet Ministers to discuss collaborative actions on First Nations priority issues. Later today, Premier Kathleen Wynne will address the Chiefs in Assembly, followed by a joint session on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's recommendations.

TORONTO, ON (August 13, 2015) --- Ontario Regional Chief Isadore is looking forward to working with newly-elected Nishnawbe Aski Nation Grand Chief Alvin Fiddler and the three NAN Deputy Grand Chiefs elected today in Aroland First Nation.
